The event has proven hugely successful and certainly fullfilled the expectations our continued growth promised.
The inclusion of the 70km and the late addition of the 20km runs have proven popular and with many, many people returning to the event following previous outings (many have participated in each of the four years we've held the WHC), it's hard to see how we can improve, though we'll work on it.
As most will know, we had some issues with the timekeeping/recording and subsequent publishing. This is something we will will work to improve on (wasn't that hard to find something was it?!), possibly with the inclusion chip timing. Results are available in full on the results page (link to the left). If there are any further discrepancies please drop me a line.
The Course
Without doubt, aside of those taking to it on foot, the star of the show on Easter Sunday was the route we chose to take the course along. The feedback I've received has been huge and 100% positive. Whether it be the shadier trails, the varying terrain or 'The Hump' - you all seemed to like it and it seems that finally, thanks to Hancocks Plantations Queensland, the event has been held over the my preferred course. It will likely be based on the same route next year, but with some subtle changes that will take care of one or two minor issues we identified this year.

The Future
Such has been our growth, next year's event will have to be staged on a commercial basis. Uppermost in our mind will be to ensure that we maintain the informal, freindly, family orientated atmosphere that we've developed since 2010, something that is as attributable to those taking part and attending to support as much as it is my team and I.
